I agree completely. The worst thing about Entourage (sys 9.xx) is the incredibly slow searches, (not sure about e10).
Eudora 5.1 only takes seconds versus several minutes in Entourage (9) (5000 plus records). I really dislike that aspect. I'm sure the slowness is due to core coding issues which most likely they will not address (since APPLE is now down to 2-3% of the market).
