The only tabs in the Accounts window are Mail, News and Directory Service.
Under the Mail tab my account name is listed. When I doubleclick on that I
have two tabs, Account settings and Options, side by side. Under Options I
did have "leave messages on server" ticked though I do not remember setting
it, certainly not since 24/7, when this started to happen. I unchecked it. I
ticked "allow online access". I suppose I have to go online again for thi to
take effect and then untick it for general use.
