Title: Importing Cced Contacts
By “easy”, I meant easy to use. Despite having never opened the Script Editor before I was able to read a little bit about the program and then intuitively create the script from what you sent me. So I considered that ease of use for a newcomer to indicate a certain brilliance in the programming, esp when considering the underlying complexity. But since it didn’t work the way I had expected I assumed that I may have been “missing something” about how to use the program. Hence my subsequent questions about the distinction bet “To” and “CC” fields. Your comments about the logic of Erage not changing what the sender did makes a lot of sense, but I recall Netscape behaving differently so was curious to understand the differences as I’m new to Erage. I do very much appreciate your efforts and will definitely find your script helpful.

Thanks a lot Paul. Applescript is either a brilliantly easy program, or I’m missing something.

And what did you mean by that? If AppleScript were brilliantly easy, how would that account for your not getting what you wanted (assuming you had asked for what you wanted, which you didn't)? I don't follow that. I did go to rather a lot of trouble to do just what you asked for, you know. How does it not doing what you want make it "easy"? It's pretty complicated, what with all the safeguards.
