I apologize if this is posted twice. I sent it yesterday afternoon and again last night, but I never received the post, so I'm assuming it didn't make it to the list. I checked the archives and it isn't there, so I'm wondering if I have e-mail (outgoing) problems... -----------
You can also transfer contacts and calendar events directly without any additional program at all. First mount the iPod on the desktop, then you can simply select the contacts you want to transfer and drag them into the Contacts folder on the iPod. Similarly you can drag calendar events into the Calendar folder on the iPod (I have not found a way to drag multiple calendar items -- although I didn't look very hard). Simple, elegant. And Apple's iSync (comes out in Fall, requires OS 10.2) will probably provide better synching (although I have no inside or advance knowledge about it.) By the way -- as far as I know, the Apple utility to do multiple contact exports does NOT work with the new iPod software (verson 1.2). But dragging does and is quicker and more flexible, although a bit tedious... -------- Jim Block [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hauppauge, NY (Long Island) On 8/13/02 11:15 AM, "helpdesk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > on 8/13/02 11:06 AM, Paul Berkowitz wrote: > >>> Will there be a new version of the apple supplied utility that syncs >>> Contacts from Entourage to the Ipod that will support Calender events? >>> >> >> Shouldn't you be asking Apple?
