My problem with leaving Office Notifications running is that everyday I work
on two different machines. When I move to the other machine, I copy my
data-base over to that machine. This copying tends to fail when Office
Notifications is on.

Your suggestion of turning off Office Notifications when I quite Entourage
is a good one if I can get myself to do it and I have tried to do that, but
I get careless ... One problem is that Office Notifications does not show
up on the Dock. I have gotten myself always to check the dock before
copying files to another machine, but that doesn't save me from Office
Notifications.
