There's another two work rounds:

Go to tools > accounts, select your account and choose the account options
tab. Here you can set up additional headers for every message sent by the
account. You could put in a cc or bcc header here, with your address in the
'value' column.

Not sure how it would work if you put an address in the real cc/bcc field,
since there would then be two headers of the same type. Try it and see ?)

Or...

Set up a script running every minute from a schedule that checks for your
address in the cc header of the front-most draft window. If it doesn't find
it it will add it.

Providing you take more than a minute to draft a message (which I'm sure you
do) your address should be added to each message.
