Hi Remo, Dear all, 2 things + Intro
Intro In the System Preferences General you can set the colour for how things are highlighted in your program. One little experiment you might want to do: open up a panel in which you can see many different colours and then tilt your screen. I have an iBook... Incredible differences... Some colours I can hardly see (in a normal shadowed room)... If I tilt my screen 20�...then all of a sudden I can see a colour come out much better... Or another one: the dark-light grey lines in apple's Aqua... What a difference in contrast if I tilt my screen. 1. Referring to Remo's lower mentioned feedback there seem to be several ways in which EntX highlights misspelled words ?! Hey, you have a different 'highlight' then! The red squiggly line under the misspelled word... I recognize from TextEdit, f.e. No, with me in Entx. If I spell-check 1 out of 2 times the highlighted box doesn't remain around the word...it just lights up for a fraction of a second... Then it disappears though my spell-checker is patiently awaiting my choice of correction. I have to look then where the word is in the text, starting to read from where the last 'stable' surrounded box was. On the other occasions it stays with the word surrounded. Any idea what is happening ?
