Mine works, but after a while, it stops. I live with it for a while, then I quit and re-launch Ent and that re-activates it. I fond Ent stable but VERY quirky. In your case, I'd try follow standard Office troubleshooting (see the FAQ below) to see if you've got a bad prefs file somewhere or a damaged Ent database. BTW when you go to Entourage menu > General Preferences, you can't click Spelling, is that what you're saying? If not, does specc checking work in Word? Is it set to a non-English language?
