No, I did that on 10.1 systems (not since Jaguar, because I upgraded my hard drive), and spell checking always has worked for me. The Entourage FAQ site has a reply to this question at: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/list/browse.html> It says: > Go to MS Word/Preferences/Spelling & Grammar/Custom Dictionary, and browse > again to your Custom Dictionary. You're best leaving language as (none). > Restart your computer.
