That sounds right. This is a good explanation.

Denes, since you send and get a lot of messages in Hungarian, try
Format/Character Set/Central European (Windows) [or (ISO)], as well as
/Western European (Windows)  or even UTF-8, with these. One of them will
probably work. or just view Source, as Eric says.
