I'm not clear on what you're asking for. MBOX files are simple text files:
they do not have a "folder" structure in the Finder. They're just files. If
you open them up they're just "run-ons' of all the messages, demarcated by
odd-looking lines beginning 'From ???@??? [date]'.

There's no way to place another MBOX file "inside" this one. you cannot
preserve your Entourage folder structure while in the Finder.

But if you have my scripts, you can do it after a fashion. You do NOT need
to archive ALL folders - you can choose which folders to archive in the
"choose" list that comes up when you select "CHOOSE folders" in the first
dialog. Command-click to select just which folders, including subfolders
(all command-clicked individually or shift-click for a contiguous group).
Those will be the ones to be archived. On your hard disk, they will all
appear as separate MBOXes (the order will give you an approximate indication
of the original hierarchy). But there is also a data text file included. If
you ever want to recreate these folders in an Entourage identity (maybe a
special "Archive identity" which can be slow for all you care, since you
only go there occasionally), the "Folders Import into X" script will
recreate the hierarchy for you. It knows the paths exactly and ill recreate
all the folders enroute to the subfolders.

PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise.
