I'm not able to view the contents of subfolders in my university IMAP account using Entourage X. Every time I click on the subfolders, Entx "unexpectedly quits". I can, however, move messages into subfolders without having the application quit. I have subscribed to all of the folders and subfolders, so I don't think that's an issue here.
Facts, so far: - I do not have this problem using Entourage 2001 in Classic with this IMAP account. I can view subfolders fine with Ent2001 in Classic. - Neither do I have this problem in OSX with this account using Eudora, Mail.app, or Mulberry. - I am able to view subfolders with Entx using a different IMAP account, FastMail, but I noticed that FastMail uses a different folder hierarchy than my university server uses. In FastMail, all folders are nested under the INBOX; on my university account, folders are at the same level as the inbox. I don't know if this difference is meaningful for Entx. - I believe that my university server uses the standard character "/" as the hierarchy separator for mailbox format. Someone suggested to me that Entx might not like "/" in its present incarnation. Specs: TiBook 667, 512 MB, OS 10.2.2. Office components updated with SR1 and 10.1.1 university server: Domino IMAP4 Server Release 5.0.9a I would be grateful for any ideas anyone might have about this problem. The more I try to troubleshoot the situation, the more baffled I get. Thanks.
