That's not to say there won't ever be one, of course. The ways of Marketing are mysterious. There are currently several other promotions and upgrades on. As an owner of Special Edition 2001, for example, you are entitled to the same upgrade price for full Office v. X as people who had bought the full Office 2001. (And if you had acted last year, you could have got it at about half that price when there was an introductory offer on.)
