I'm running a bunch of 10.2.3 clients who all use Entourage. I've had a few issues with corrupt databases so I want to backup each person's Entourage database everyday. Some of the users are on iMacs and some are on laptops The iMacs are no problem to backup as that can happen late night when no apps are open. The laptop users are an issue because the only time I can back them up is during the day, however, Entourage is always open.
Currently, I have a dedicated Retrospect server set to backup these clients, however the Entourage databases get skipped due to locking. What options do I have to backup their Entourage database with minimal user interaction?
