To bring this thread up from the dead -- the issue where clicking on a folder or Custom View results in the focus jumping to "On My Computer" -- I just (accidentally) discovered another detail.
It appears that the problem only happens for me when the folder or Custom View contains unread messages. My "SPAM" folder collects mail from three different rules and the JMF; those rules used to mark all messages moved to the SPAM folder as read. However, I'd end up getting the "new mail" alert, switching to Entourage, and wondering where the new mail was ;) (It was in the SPAM folder). So yesterday I changed all the rules and the JMF to keep all these SPAM messages as "unread." Prior to the change (when all SPAM was "read"), the SPAM folder never exhibited the "focus change" bug. After the change (when all SPAM was left "unread") the SPAM folder now exhibits this behavior almost without exceptions.
