That's because there were about 100,000 complaints (or a lot, anyway) in Entourage 2001 which shows only today's and overdue tasks. Now some people, like you, prefer the other way. Perhaps it could be a preference, but I think this is probably pretty complicated and may be difficult to make as a preference. Why don't you request "show only today's and overdue tasks in calendar" as a preference. (Some people might want to add "and tomorrow's too!".) If you go to the Help menu you'll see an item "Send Feedback on Entourage".
