Title: Re: Entourage-Talk Digest - 06/04/03
He needs to copy the “Microsoft User Data” folder from his old Documents folder in the backup disk into his new OS X user Documents folder, which is located here:
Macintosh HD/Users/<Your User>/Documents/

Once that’s done, Command-Option-drag this folder into Macintosh HD/Documents.  Once you’ve done that, he should be able to access his mail in Entourage 2001.  If it doesn’t appear right away, go to File -> Switch Identities and choose the correct identity.

Hope this helps.  In the future, you might want to enter a more descriptive subject line if you’re posting a new question, but I suppose it’s easy to forget every so often.

A basic question but please help.  I just upgraded my son’s G3 from system 9.2 to 10.2. I first saved his entire hard drive on discs.  He uses Entourage 2001.  Where would I find his old messages, calendar etc.  When we opened Entourage the old messages are not there.  Thank you.  Irving Weissman
