I haven't had any difficulty, but Apple re-released the update yesterday. It fixed a problem when using the login button when a user logged in. It may have fixed some other issues as well. You may want to try to install the new security update rather than the old one. Unfortunately, the names are identical. I installed it from the Software Update control panel.
