I use Safari most of the time, but use IE when Safari can't hack it. I have around 250 cookies in IE. I do not experience this problem of loss of preferences, cookies, or autofill data. I guess I'm just lucky. As for whether it depends on a "clean" system...I'm the opposite of John Welch in that regard. I run practically every add-on known to man. I seem to recall that I once had a problem like this (losing autofill info) and that it was related to Fruit Menu (which I discontinued using quite some time ago). My memory may be inaccurate; it might have been some other add-on. But, I'd suggest playing with IE and Entourage with all add-ons disabled (use a freshly minted OS identity), and seeing if the problem persists. My guess is that it won't; it will go away. I think something beside those two programs is involved here. -- Microsoft MVP for Entourage/OE/Word (MVPs are volunteers) Allen Watson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Entourage FAQ site: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> AppleScripts for Outlook Express and Entourage: <http://members.thinkaccess.net/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/Scripts/> Entourage Help Pages: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
