That won't work unless you don't have the Microsoft Database Daemon present
in Login Items (a component of System Preferences).  However, if you start
up with login items disabled, it will work.  Do this by going to Apple ->
Log Out.  Log in using your normal username/password, hold down Shift, and
then press the button to log in.  Keep Shift held down until log in is
complete; when it is, you should be able to launch Entourage holding down
the Option key and then rebuild the database.
