One other thing re. reading digests in X: I notice that this forum provides a digest which is already "exploded" when you read it. I find that each item appears in the list of attachments. This makes it easy to scan the subjects and just open the posts that interest you. The only limitation is that you can't sort that attachment list. I wonder if the list "mom" could let us know what server end software is doing that. I'd like to suggest it to some other lists I'm on.
