The customer called and said that every time he clicks on his calendar function in Entourage he gets an error message that says "Could not open that feature. Mail error." There are no error numbers, just that text message. Further, when clicking the OK button to dismiss the dialog box, it brings up another one just like it for a couple of repetitions and then hangs the program.
We've tried rebuilding the database, we (completely) deleted recent emails going back to before the last time he remembered being able to access his calendar and again rebuilt the database. Neither worked. Logging in as a different user and launching Entourage as a different user allows him to access all Entourage functions including the calendar. This leads me back to a corrupt database or possibly corrupt prefs. I have not yet trashed the prefs for a couple of reasons, but we will if we have to. I've researched all the info on the MS web site as well as the Entourage MVP help site. Haven't been able to locate any references anywhere else to this particular problem or error message. Anyone have any thoughts, suggestions, WAGs?
