Hmm, maybe I worded that badly as that is not what I meant. It is just
the auto-configuration of the account that will fail, you should still
be able to set up an exchange account manually in Entourage once you
find out all the right servers.

Oops.  If I read condition 3 correctly, if connected remotely then there
will be no way to proceed (at this time), period.  If so, then my hopes
are dashed if "yes" is required to this -- except when the Mac is
actually in my office, networked.  C'est la vie.
