Title: Re: Skip the Deleted Items Folder
Rules of any kind only operate on the messages coming into (or being sent from) the Entourage database.  Ergo, incoming messages must have been downloaded from the server, even if you have arranged for copies to remain there.  The only way to prevent spammy messages from getting into your database in the first place is to have some ISP-hosted spam system (postini is one my ISP uses) and/or to scan the roster of message subject lines/senders under user-controlled authorized online access.  You can mark ones you don’t want for near instant death, the actual zapping of which occurs the next time you retrieve messages.  This is the combination of systems I use, Postini as a front line defense, then high-tech eyeball stuff.

Subject: Skip the Deleted Items Folder

Hello,
First, thank you for all the great info here. Very nice indeed.
Now, I have Spamsieve set up with Entourage and it’s taking all the spam and placing it into the “spam” folder. So far, so good.
Now, I would like to be able to delete the mail from the spam folder after I check the headers and skip the deleted items folder and just delete them right off the server . Do not stop in deleted items, do not pass go, just disappear. Is there an applescript to do this or some other method to accomplish this?
