I made a schedule called "empty junk" (you could call it whatever you like of course). I have it operate "manually" (because I like to check the junk mail folder before deleting in case something "real" gets put there by mistake). The action is to "delete mail" from "junk" (my name for the spam folder). That action does so directly, without putting the mail into the deleted items folder.
