Panther's "Expos�" will be a big help sorting out multiple windows...

You can't get Entourage to remember window positions. It will (I believe,
seems to for me) remember size, though. Close all windows, open a new
message window, size it as you like, then close it. New messages should now
open at that size. But the positioning seems to be hard-coded.

A script could do something like tile windows (overlapping), but it hardly
seems worth it. I just use the window menu, or ctrl-click on the Entourage
icon in the Dock and select my window from there. That works even if you
have minimized a bunch of windows into the Dock...
