If you had trouble decompressing that means a faulty download from the website - most likely - or something wrong with your 10.1.2 install - less likely - or something seriously wrong with your copy of Apple's Disk Copy - least likely. If I were you, I would reboot, run Repair Disk Permissions, download a new copy of the updater from MacTopia, and try again. If still no good, you'll have to use Office Remover from the Value Pack, re-apply Office Update 10.1.2, then 10.1.4.
