Wow, that was really, really weird.

I never was able to figure this out. I kept being completely baffled by how
I could move a working Database from the G4 to the G5 and have it not work.

I eventually bit the bullet and reinstalled a clean Panther. On
VersionTracker.com, I read that apps that placed stuff in the Finder menu
could create problems, so I left out things like Stuffit Deluxe 8.x.

After 24 hours of troubleshooting, I'm up and running. Thanks for the
suggestions, I have written down the two files, Remo, for future reference!
