I have given up trying to keep Entourage from experiencing IMAP errors with our server at work (courier imapd). I never seem to get the errors when I manually check mail, only during scheduled checks. It's the totally anonymous error I posted earlier:

The only remaining problem is that every time this error occurs (approximately every 3 minutes when I'm at work) the Entourage Dock icon starts bouncing, and won't stop bouncing until I click on it! I've tried ignoring it, but it is impossible. A hack like "Dock DeTox" that stops all bouncing Dock icons is not acceptable since I do want to see some well-behaved apps bounce (e.g. IChat's single-bounce when a new message arrives.) My question is: how to I convince Entourage that I no longer care about IMAP errors? I just want it to stop bouncing all day! Is there some secret AppleScript command I can send it or something?
