This does not work for me (Ent-X 10.1.4 on Mac OS X 10.2.8). My procedure:
1) switch to Calendar. Verify that task pane is not shown. 2) switch to Task. Change view. 3) switch to Calendar. Select "task pane" on "Calendar" menu.
