Thankfully, your ISP error message is very precise. You ISP only allows authenticated users access to their SMTP server. They offer two methods to authenticate: SMTP AUTH and POP-before-SMTP. In the former, you would edit your account settings by clicking on the advanced sending options and selecting "SMTP server requires authentication" and "Use same settings as receiving server". In the latter method, your ISP records your computer's current IP address whenever you check your mail and considers that address "authenticated" for a period of 30 minutes. If you send a message within that time, the message will be accepted and "relayed". If 30 minutes pass since you last checked your mail, you will not be allowed to send again until you check your mail. If you are on a broadband connection, simply set your schedule to check mail at least every 30 minutes. If you are not on a broadband connection, you can try moving the "Send All" action to the bottom of your schedules. -Remo Del Bello -- "Don't worry, you won't feel a thing...till I jam this down your throat!" - Dr. Nick Riviera on The Simpsons -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
