Except you don't save anything. It just refills again to the same size. So
the best policy is to delete spam on the same sort of schedule you like
doing. That frees up space within the database for new messages to overwrite
the deletions, without annoying your disk by unnecessary rebuildings. When
ready, delete spam again.
