Actually, Paul, I'm sorry I somehow managed to stir you up into spending 3
minutes typing that (maybe it's the fact that I have strep at the moment and
haven't slept well).  With just the little I know you, I know you could have
done much more important things with those 3 minutes.  Seriously...

My main objective was to point out that an installer ought to be able to do
stuff like that for us.  Why should we require that every 'rage user out
there either go through the steps to quit the daemon, or have the script
menu installed with that script in it?

There's probably a very good reason, and I'll shut up about it now.
