OS X (10.3.3) I have a really nice printer (at least I think so) from HP (Deskjet 990 Cxi) and one of the nice things about it, is that it's able to print duplex. Or rather, it WAS. Under OS 9.2. After I changed to X, it no longer prints on both sides. The option in the print dialog is greyed out.
HP seems to be aware of this. At least they have some sort of guide on this address: http://h20015.www2.hp.com/hub_search/document.jhtml?lc=en&docName=c00059 385&prodId=hpdeskjet921701&cc=us The trouble is, I can't get it to work. It works in Word, but I have to set it up every time: I have to go through Page Setup and all that and if I close the document and reopen it to print it, I have to go through it again. Does anybody have any idea how to make the setting stick and also how to apply it to other applications?
