There are 200 people in the MRU list based on frequency and "recentness". Some of those might just happen to be the same as some of your contacts but appeared on a mailing list like this one where Entourage doesn't recognize them as contacts. (I _think_ that they will usually have different email addresses as non-contact items than any listed in their contacts, but that may not be the case. I think Entourage should recognize the email addresses of contacts, and mark them as contacts with the little man icon). Before you click or press return or Enter or Tab to autocomplete a recipient, take a good look at it. Any address followed by (Home), (Work) or (Other) is a contact address and will be represented by the little man icon when complete. Any address not followed by one of those descriptors is not a contact recipient and will appear with the yellow @. To get the contact icon and address, use the mouse or arrow keys to selct on of the addresses followed by (Home), (Work) or (Other). Normally it won't matter, but sometimes people use false email addresses or use rulesto filter out mail not sent to one of the addresses they have given you for direct email. So to be safe, choose a contact address with the arrow keys or mouse. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/toc.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
