I have tried to change the SMTP settings to both my home ISP (direcway) and
my company ISP and neither will work. The only time I can get it to work is
when I'm actually in the office and using our company's net access. Then
mail.MyISP.org works without authentification.

When I try to change the outgoing SMTP server to mail.MyISP.org I get the
same error message as below.
When I add authentification I get an error message that says the server
doesnt recognize any of the authentification methods supported by
Entourage. To send mail try disabling authentification in your account
settings.
If I change the outgoing server to SMTP.MyIsp.org I get the same error
message if I use the authentification. If I take authentification off, I get
the original error message, Relaying denied. The account did not recognize
the recipients or the server refuses to allow you to send mail.

On the other hand, I also have another POP mail account and a .Mac account
(this one) and I have no problem with either! I do have to add
authentification when I go thru the direcway server, but I don't have to
change the server information to direcway. The POP account uses mail.xxx.org
and the .mac uses SMTP.mac.com. Both have the authentification set to same
as receiving mail.

On a related note, is there a way to save different configurations so I
don't have to re-type the SMTP server information when I change locations?

I move around quite a bit and am constantly having to change this info. Most
public internet access sites (hotels, Starbucks, airports) seem to have
authentification off, and when I'm home I have to turn it back on for each
of the accounts.
In the Apple Mail app, you get a drop down list of all servers you have used
and can pick one from the list.

Thanks for your help!
