I am experiencing multiple copies of the same email appearing in my Entourage 2004 inbox using my .mac email account.
Two days ago, it was the Silicon Valley morning report. Today, it was a Motley Fool email. Multiple copies will appear in my Entourage inbox. I will usually be able to delete one of them, but clicking delete on subsequent copies has no effect. If I check my .mac email using the Apple Mail client or the web interface, these subsequent copies are not there. I read that one solution to the problem of the duplicate emails is to delete the account and then recreate it. I tried that this morning. This afternoon, I experience the multiple Motley Fool emails. Additionally, I must have done something wrong when I "recreated" the account because now when I Send & Receive my .mac account, I am getting an error message that says "Mailbox does not exist. Mail could not be received at this time. Error: 1025". However, I am receiving mail from my .mac account. Thanks for any help.
