And you still haven't said which sort of account(s) you have. Is this a POP account and local Deleted Items folder. Or an Exchange account or IMAP account with a server Deleted Items folder?

Sorry, I wasn’t clear. There are NO rules anywhere on my Entourage program. Yet the messages are still appearing in the deleted items folder. And it’s a random subset of messages. There is no rhyme or reason when or to what messages this is happening to, it just is.

Check whichever of POP Rules, IMAP Rules, Hotmail Rules, or Exchange Rules is relevant to that account. Rules don't operate per account but per account type. By chance is this an IMAP account, but you're looking under POP Rules?
