I'm afraid it doesn't work for me.

If the progress window was behind the main window, it stays there (which is
really fine with me), and if it was in front, it stays in front.  Basically,
it doesn't seem like the "select main window" line is doing anything.

Appreciate the help,

PS: Answering my own question, of course it doesn't override, since these
use Control rather than Command.
