I've never used the Flags tool in Entourage, but yesterday, while playing around with my new Entourage 2004, I discovered "Flag for follow-up", which allows you to set a timed reminder. Very cool. I wonder if that was there all along in Entourage 2001.
My question: for those using this feature, how do you locate the flagged email once Office Notifications pops up the reminder associated with it? In testing "Flag for Follow-up," I see an Office Notification that does pop up, but there doesn't seem to be any link back to the email. How are you locating the flagged emails? What's interesting, though, is that you can also flag documents in other Microsoft Office programs for follow-up (like a Word doc), and set a date and time to receive a reminder. When you flag the document for follow-up, a task is created. When these Office Notifications pop up, they do have a hot link that brings up the associated Word doc, regardless of where you've buried it in your Mac. I REALLY love this feature. Well done :) I have religiously used Brian Harris's dual Postpone, delay send/Bring up Postponed scripts many times each day since he first wrote it back in 2001. They are a core tool for my time and focus management. I will probably continue using them over this Flag for Follow-up, but I'd still be curious about how you all are using this feature. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
