I've used only 2004 for several months now, yes. And I just did it 10 minutes ago, That's what I was reporting. I quoted an actual vCard text in my last message. That verifies that the various types were written correctly and clearly now. I said I recalled that back in X the full types weren't listed and now they are. Then I imported the vCard back in and compared it directly with the original. I'm not making this up, David. Most of the types - the standard types - were imported correctly but 3 "newly spec'd" types : two custom phones and "Assistant" phone were moved into Home Fax, Pager and Main respectively. That's what Entourage used to do before too: it has a fixed order for types it doesn't recognize (the same order you see when you add a new phone in the UI, before you change the phone label to what you actually want) and it just starts filling them up in that order. I guess this wasn't thoroughly tested. I've often thought that it might be a good idea to ask outside testers to test for particular things that are supposed to be fixed. just as you must do for internal testers. Oh well - most of the fields are correct. > Again we did a bunch of work to ensure > changes made by one person to a shared contact would come across fine when > syncing with others. Try it yourself with a test contact that has many, but not all, phone types filled (leave some free to see how it fills them.) -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/index.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - **2004**, X or 2001.
