Well, not that I can tell. I have a handful of rules for moving incoming
mail around, and a couple for outgoing messages, but none of these would
seem to apply to calendar events.

I just tried an experiment where I deleted the signature that was appearing
in some of the events. Then when I opened up the event, the signature was
gone and the notes section was blank. I recreated the signature, calling it
the same name as before, and went to open up the event. No signature
appeared.

But then I noticed something else interesting. I opened up an event that
had an actual note in the notes section. What I had written was displaced
downward by one line, i.e., a blank line had been added above my note. I
deleted the blank line, saved the event, closed the event, then reopened the
event. You can probably guess that the blank line got inserted again above
my note.

Very strange.
