Yes, Paul, I am Mac and Windows tech support, and Entourage is new to the 30 Mac users in our division, coming from Outlook 2001 for the Mac or other means.
I hope there is another way to change the default e-mail application other than launching Apple Mail and setting preferences there. I really don't want another e-mail program working in OS X; we are having our problems with Entourage and our Exchange Server and we're trying to eliminate any more pieces in the puzzle. I have thought about taking out Mozilla's preferences and restarting it; I've already informed the user I'll be doing that later today. Thanks for your suggestion. Steve D. Culver Mac / Win Desktop & Network Tech Support University of California, Davis ========================================== Hmmm. You're Mac Tech Support? In Panther, where she is (OS 10.3.x), you open Apple Mail, Preferences/General, and set the default email program there. It's always possible that Mozilla might keep nagging her anyway. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP MacOffice Entourage FAQ Page: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/faq/index.html> AppleScripts for Entourage: <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using - **2004**, X or 2001.
