I’ve searched through the archives, but I can’t find anything on this problem. I have one IMAP account, and it has an inbox with Sent, Trash, and Saved as sub-folders. I cannot seem to get these out of the Inbox. Each of these inherits the column view of the inbox, but it is not really necessary to know who the message is FROM or the RECEIVED date in the Sent items folder. I’ve changed them many times to TO and SENT, and done the “Repair message list” thing, but with no luck.
Does anyone know any reasons for this or have any suggestions?
More on this issue: it is also impossible to create a new folder that is not a subfolder of Inbox. Is there something the server could do?
