The question is not whether either of the other two machines have an Office app open, but whether or not they have any such apps installed. The MS database daemon, which provides a number of services, runs at startup. I can easily imagine a scenario in which multiple Macs on a network might be running the same copy of that daemon, thus invoking that warning.
