D'oh! Anyway, I do see that behavior in Entourage v.X with URLs that include two http prefixes, such as recommended links to Yahoo stories and such. What's nice about Entourage is that you can Command-click the non-linked portion of the URL and it will send the whole URL to your browser. I don't know if that behavior carried through to 2004.
