Hell, Paul, I have dozens of scripts on my website with no documentation,
and nobody every writes me about them. Of course probably no one downloads
them either! I just copied my entire Entourage Script Menu Items folder tree
up there one day. I'm not holding myself up as an model by any means! You
are really good about documenting your stuff; I just never find the time. I
have a couple of fairly complex and useful sets of scripts I've never posted
because I never got around to documenting them, and they really need it to
be useful to others.

But with the short one-offs such as those we post to the list, I don't think
you need to worry about being deluged with requests for information if you
leave them on your iDisk. Post a "Use as is" notice telling people you won't
respond to requests for more information...and you'll probably never hear
from anyone.

Twice you've mentioned modifying the scripts with a Script Editor creator
code. I'm not sure I understand why; is it so people can double-click and
open the script to read it? Surely they can't _modify_ it because of the
very problem we're discussing. Or is there some other reason it has to have
that "ToyS" creator code?
