There was never any import - I started from scratch in Entourage 2004 a couple of months ago. Deleting the IMAP rules keeps the MLM rules there so, finally, I have two mutually exclusive sets of rules (the POP3 ones, which were never touched throughout this saga, and the MLM ones). It would be interesting to find out why the MLM rules appeared in the IMAP list when they were never explicitly put there: if I manage to catch an occurence subsequently, I shall post again!
