I have used Entourage for years, and just recently upgraded to 2004. I have
found few improvements, but overall I like it OK. However, I have found that
editing new mail messages is highly unstable. I have had Entourage crash a
dozen times in less than two weeks, and it's ALWAYS when typing a new
message. Eleven times, Command-down arrow (go to end of text area) has made
Entourage simply vanish, with an option to report the problem to Microsoft.
Once, option-left arrow (select previous word) caused Entourage to hang
(spinning color wheel).
I have Entourage 11.1.0 (040813) on a PowerBook G4 (10.3.5, 1 GB RAM)
I'm about to do a database rebuild and then try a new user account, although
I don't see why that would help. I'm not working with the database in any
way when this happens. It appears to be bugs in the text editor.
Any other suggestions?
