I just noticed something odd. I am copying text from a series of emails and
pasting them into various Word documents as the subject matter dictates.
Most of the emails are more than a screen full in size. Here's what I do:
Select text in email
Command C to Copy
Delete key to delete
Command Tab to switch to Word
Paste
Command Tab to switch to Entourage
Repeat
Here's the odd thing: as I delete a message, it selects the next one as
expected, but as Command tab switches to Word, I see Entourage in the
background scrolling the selected email a screen forward, so that when I
return to Entourage, it's no longer at the top of the message.
I thought at first I was hitting space by accident, since that scrolls email
in the three-pane preview mode a screen ahead, but that's not it. It seems
to be doing it by itself as I switch applications.
Weird.
